2 new Rules (For DO mode devices only)
Web Content Filtering - In projects where mobile devices are used to browse the internet, additional customization is needed, particularly when it comes to filtering inappropriate content. The ‘set private DNS’ rule allows admins to choose which websites are accessible and which aren't, via a DNS server of their choice. Once this rule is set up, inappropriate content will be blocked from web browsers and any apps attempting to reach it.
Requires android OS >= 10.Date and Time Settings Access -FocusMDM’s unique ‘block apps at a given time interval’ rule allows customization of app usage times - say: blocking YouTube during working hours. With the ‘Disallow config date and time’ rule, device holders are now unable to circumvent this rule by changing the time manually in the device settings.
Device Storage-Level Alerts - Admins will now be alerted via email notification of devices with less than 10% storage capacity remaining. This is useful in situations where device storage capacity can hinder the effective use of the device and thus the efficiency of on-the-ground projects.
Device Health Stats - Admins using the FocusMDM dashboard can now view particular device health stats for a Device. This feature provides admins better troubleshooting data when devices present technical problems in the field.

Data Usage Report
What App are using the most data? What time are your users spending on each of the Apps?
Is it Instagram or YouTube? How much time in a day are your users working with their devices?
How much data does Google Play store consume in the background?Archiving a Device. This concept can be confusing and the action was called "Delete" so its been renamed "Archive"
This does not wipe or factory reset the device. It archives the device so it cannot be managed and hides it from being seen on the Dashboard.Email Notifications
Is it clear what the Issue is about and why you are getting this email?Performance improvements when doing bulk actions on a group of devices (ie forced sync on a Device Group)

April 2022
Support for Android Go (stripped down version of Android for entry-level smartphones.)
While some devices running Android Go have limitations in Android features, there is now support for these low cost devices.
Google disabled the "Draw over other Apps" permission/feature in Android Go 10 so App blocking works, but is less friendly for device users.
Read FAQ for more informationFix - In App version 1.7.54, DO enrollment would result in "Device not configured" issue before the enrollment was completed. This was misleading.
27th April:
Upgraded database hardware to reduce timeouts
Syncing now happens in batches of 50 Sync to reduce load on server
March 2022
"Device not configured" Issue was not solved when a device synced and all the services were enabled. This bug meant that the number of Issues in the Issues list was larger than it should be. This is now fixed and Issues are marked as "Solved" and then 5 days later not shown on the Issues List.
February 2022
Disable mobile hot-spotting (Need V1.7.54 on device)
When a device is set up to be a Wi-Fi hotspot for other devices, FocusMDM will not know what the data is being used for. So there is now a new Rule for devices enrolled as Device Owner (DO) to disable the setting for the device to be tethered.
You can identify devices that have been used as Wi-Fi hot-spots be checking the usage of the Android "system.app.usage"Faster loading of Dashboard Home Page
To save you time the overview now show the current month's usage information where it used to show the previous 30 days
It's still possible to change the date range to suit your needsMore accurate alerts on data usage Issues
Considering that mobile data contracts are usually monthly, it's useful for you to know when device usage is approaching its monthly data limit
Set your Data Usage Threshold for warning about devices that are approaching or over this monthly threshold and data usage Issues will be sent to you.
The other way to manage excessive data usage is to limit an Apps usage on the device with a Rule. For example, limit Facebook to 100 MB per month
January 2022
Device Activity Report bug fix - Kilometers are now calculated more accurately
The device mode is now shown more prominently on the Device Details screen - either DO mode or Device Admin Mode (when Basic enrollment)
For devices that are in Device Admin Mode (when Basic enrollment), the Rules shown will now ONLY show applicable Rules and no DO mode rules
"Device not configured" Issue is now not created when a user turns off the GPS location setting on their device. This is often done by users to save battery and location can still be tracked using mobile and Wi-Fi.
Some error messages and phrases updated for clarity to understand the feature or issue.
December 2021
Fix - The "Device not configured" Issue and notification were not being created for all scenarios. Now any device that is not enrolled correctly or a device user changes the permissions, means this issue will be highlighted for the administrator.
Due to Android tightening up visibility of personal data, from Android 10 and above, the IMEI and SIM id cannot be retrieved from device enrolled in Basic Mode. The Dashboard now makes this clear to administrators as to why this information is missing
Fix - For devices that did not have SIM card slots, they reported SIM card removal Issue which was misleading
