Mobile device enrollment is the first phase of enterprise mobile management (EMM). Device enrollment is the method for connecting your FocusMDM web dashboard with your mobile devices.
During the enrollment, the mobile device is setup to communicate with FocusMDM.
FocusMDM supports many ways to enroll your devices
Factory reset the device and use QR code
Factory reset the device and use DPC identifier
Send a SMS or email with a URL link to the device to click for enrollment
Bulk enroll a number of devices by sending an email or SMS URL to all the devices
Install FocusMDM from the Play Store and then perform manual enrollment steps
Which of these enrollment methods you choose will impact what the management mode of your devices.
Devices are enrolled into one of 2 modes
Basic Mode for partially managed devices
Device Owner (DO) Mode for fully managed devices
