What are device requirements for enrollment?

You can manage Android mobile devices using FocusMDM running the following Android operating systems:

Android version 4.4 and later

  • For the older versions of Android, FocusMDM offers partially managed devices (with Basic Enrollment)

  • For fully manged devices, newer Android versions are needed

Android version 6.0 and higher

  • For newer versions of Android, FocusMDM offers partially managed devices (with Basic Enrollment) and fully managed devices (with DO Enrollment)

  • For fully manged devices in DO Mode, please confirm your device is listed here or contact us to check if your device is fully compatible with DO mode

  • Android Go version 8.1 and version 9 can be partially or fully manged devices. NOTE there are issues with Android Go version 10



Are all Devices and Android Versions supported by FocusMDM?

While FocusMDM is optimized for use on low end mobile devices, it is not possible to test every Android device. Note that older versions of Android, Android Go, and forked versions of Android may be subject to compatibility issues.
