Data Export Sharing

Overview

CommCare allows users to share case and form exports using the sharing settings on exports. There are three settings available for sharing exports: Private, Export Only, and Edit and Export. Each setting provides different levels of access to users for editing and exporting exports.

Private

• Description: Only you can edit and export the export.

• Permissions:

  • User who created the export:

    • Can edit the export.

    • Can export the export.

  • Others:

    • No access.

Export Only

• Description: You can edit and export, while others can only export.

• Permissions:

  • User who created the export:

    • Can edit the export.

    • Can export the export.

  • Others:

    • Can only export the export.

Edit and Export

• Description: You and others can edit and export the export.

• Permissions:

  • User who created the export and others:

    • Can edit the export.

    • Can export the export.

  • Others:

    • Can edit the export.

    • Can export the export.
