Tracing

When tracing is configured for an experiment (bot), each interaction with the bot will result in trace data being recorded and sent to the tracing platform. This data can be used to get insight into the performance of the bot.

Tracing platforms

Currently only Langfuse and LangSmith are supported.

Configure Tracing

To enable tracing you must first go to Team Settings and create a Tracing Provider.

Once you have a tracing provider you can attach it to an experiment on the create / edit page under the 'Advanced' tab.

With the tracing provider attached to an experiment, every message will result in a trace being recorded.

To disable tracing, edit the experiment and remove the tracing provider.
