What is a program in CommCare Supply?
A CommCare Supply-enabled domain will include support for programs. A program is a way to categorize different products and locations you are tracking in CommCare Supply. Say in your project you are tracking 20 locations, 10 of which manage an inventory of reproductive medicines from the district office and the rest locations are managing HIV prevention medicines through a different government vertical program. Categorizing all products and locations you uploaded into CommCare Supply into two different programs would make your life easier when setting up CommCare Supply project.Â

STEP 1: Go to the Setup tab in a CommCare Supply-enabled domain, there is a section 'Programs'. Here, you will see an uneditable program named 'Uncategorized' and you will be presented with the option to add a new program.

STEP 2: Fill in the name of the program and click Create Program. Go back to Manage Programs screen and you should be able to see the program you just created.

STEP 3: Great! Now let's move on and associate mobile workers with different programs.Â
