This paper summarizes the evidence base for CommCare and closely related systemsmobile health applications. We reviewed all published papers on CommCare, several and unpublished (gray literature) studies of about the CommCare platform, all the published papers on pertinent, alternative mobile health systems to CommCare we could find, and selected several papers on highly relevant topics. These papers provide This collection of 26 papers offers substantial evidence that CommCare improves the access, quality, experience and accountability of care provided . Several themes emerged from the evidence such as that CommCare improves CHW credibility and that CommCare can be used by programs to improve health system efficiency.Link to paper coming soon. by community health workers.
