The SureAdhere mobile application supports several additional features beyond the VDOT workflow. These features can work independently of each other OR they can be stacked together to create the desired treatment journey for patients. Treatment Calendar

The treatment calendar shows patient’s their treatment progress. The different colors indicate the status of each of their doses

Medication Pill Survey

The medication pill survey will display the list of medications a patient is supposed to take for their dose, then collect a survey of actual pills they took during their dose.

Self-Reported & In-Person Survey Questions

The purpose of the self-reported and in-person survey questions are to capture further details on a patient’s every dose. These survey questions ask if the patient had a meal with their dose and if they were with a treatment provider at the time of their dose. If the patient indicates that YES, they were with their treatment provider during their dose than the dose will be recorded as an in-person dose. On the other hand, if the patient indicates NO they were not with their treatment provider during their dose than the dose will be recorded as self-reported.

If a dose is 1) reported as in-person, 2) the Medication Pill Survey is turned on, and 3) the patient took all of their medications than the dose will automatically be updated to “taken” in the SureAdhere CMS. This helps staff users from double monitoring in-person doses in SureAdhere.

Take Video From Home Screen with Survey Questions

Gather medications, water and cell phone in a well-lit location.
Set up phone and open the SureAdhere app.
Select or add UserID and enter PIN.
To start a video, press "Take Video"
Today's Medications will display, click Start Submission.
Start recording by clicking red circle button.
End the recording by pressing the white square button.
Add the number of pills that were taken during dose.
Answer the survey questions.
Video and survey will automatically upload to the SureAdhere secure cloud server.
The Submission Status screen will display and all event submissions can be reviewed.
Click the back button in the top left of the screen to go back to the Welcome screen.

Additionally, if the self-report survey question is turned on, than patient’s can submit past doses from the treatment calendar

Submit Dose from Calendar

Gather medications, water and cell phone in a well-lit location.
Set up phone and open the SureAdhere app.
Select or add UserID and enter PIN.
Select "Calendar" from the list of options.
Select todays date to start a dose submission.
Select Take Video or Self-Report.
Today's Medications will display, click Start Submission.
Start recording by clicking red circle button.
End the recording by pressing the white square button.
Add the number of pills that were taken during dose.
Answer the survey questions.
Video and survey will automatically upload to the SureAdhere secure cloud server.
The Submission Status screen will display and all event submissions can be reviewed.
Click the back button in the top left of the screen to go back to the Welcome screen.

Submit Self-Report for Previous Date

Gather medications, water and cell phone in a well-lit location.
Set up phone and open the SureAdhere app.
Select or add UserID and enter PIN.
Select "Calendar" from the list of options.
Select todays date to start a dose submission.
The Submission Summary screen will display, click Submit Dose.
Select "Self-Report"
Answer the survey questions.
Video and survey will automatically upload to the SureAdhere secure cloud server.
The Submission Status screen will display and all event submissions can be reviewed.
Click the back button in the top left of the screen to go back to the Welcome screen.
