New Report: Dose Inconsistencies by Site The Reports tab now includes a new chart-based report that shows each patient's dose activity over time, grouped by site. It makes unusual patterns easy to spot at a glance, and you can filter by date range and by site.
Print-Ready Metrics Report (New) For research studies, SureAdhere can now generate a polished, print-ready Metrics Report — a multi-page summary of dose activity with charts for every patient, ready to share with study teams and sponsors.
Clearer Dose Records When a patient records a video and self-reports their dose in the same session, those records are now clearly connected in the dose details — making review more straightforward.
Fixes Fixed an issue where drug statuses could briefly show out-of-date information after a change, along with other small improvements.

Dose & Regimen History Is Back — and Faster The audit history feature (who changed what, and when) is available again for both doses and regimens, and it's now much faster. Click Show dose audit history on a dose, or Show regimen audit history on the regimen page, to see the full record of changes — including changes to unscheduled drugs.
Escalation Workflow for Everyone The dose escalation workflow ("Submit and flag" / "Submit and resolve") is now turned on for all clients by default — no setup needed.
No More Accidental Duplicates Buttons now temporarily disable while your changes are saving, so a double-click or a slow connection can no longer create duplicate records.
Meal Tracking Fix For sites that record whether patients ate before a dose, we fixed a display issue with the "meal within the last hour" information on dose records.

Every-Other-Day Schedules (New) Drug schedules can now repeat every other day. Doses automatically alternate days starting from the schedule's start date, and the calendar preview shows exactly which days are on.
Integration & Self-Report Improvements We've made improvements to SureAdhere's integration with electronic data capture systems used in research studies, and fixed issues with how meal information from patient self-reports is recorded.

Flexible Schedule Duration When creating a drug schedule, you can still enter a number of weeks — but a new Advanced options section now also lets you set the duration as a number of days, or pick an exact end date on a calendar. Use whichever is easiest; they all stay in sync automatically.
Duplicate Entry Prevention Fixed an issue where clicking a submit button more than once could create duplicate records.

Pill Count Improvements For sites that use pill counts, entering them is now clearer: separate actions for adding a new pill count and editing today's count, a note showing when each count was entered, and a new check that prevents impossible entries (pills returned plus lost or damaged can never exceed pills dispensed).

Patient Background Profiles (Now Available for All Clients) The Background section of the patient profile — where providers can record additional context about a patient — is now available to everyone. Sections are collapsed by default and labeled as optional, so they're easy to skip or fill in as needed.
Missed Dose Counter Fix The Missed Doses count in Quick Actions now correctly counts only actual missed doses. Previously, doses with submitted videos were sometimes still being counted as missed.

Dose Audit Trail (New) Every change made to a dose is now recorded and shown inline with dose comments — including who changed what, from what value, and when. For example: "Jane Smith changed dose status from Missed to Taken." Video review events are also captured, so you can see which staff member reviewed a dose video and when.
All-Time Adherence (New) The dashboard adherence filter now includes an All Time option alongside the existing 7-day and 30-day views, giving you a complete picture of how patients have done throughout their treatment history.
Patient Adherence Column (New) Every row in the patient list now shows that patient's all-time adherence percentage and a taken/scheduled dose count. The same figure appears prominently at the top of the patient's Adherence tab and updates automatically when you review a dose.
Automatic Inactive Patient Deactivation SureAdhere can now automatically deactivate patients who have had no activity for a year, keeping your patient list accurate and your adherence numbers meaningful. Contact SureAdhere to enable this for your site.
Multi-Client Fixes Resolved several issues for users with access to multiple clients: patient data was sometimes not visible after switching clients, staff accounts weren't always appearing in search results, and Site Staff Administrators couldn't reliably see their assigned sites.

Client & Site Management (New for Admins) Admin users can now create and manage clients and sites directly in SureAdhere. A new Clients tab in the Admin panel lets you add new clients, edit client names, and manage site names and time zones — no need to contact the SureAdhere team for setup.
Dose Record Integrity Adherence event records are now read-only to protect data accuracy. Dose status changes should be made through the standard dose review workflow.
Multi-Client Fix Resolved an error where Client Staff Admins received a permissions error when editing their own account in multi-client environments.

Simplified Patient Settings The patient profile's preferences section has been redesigned. "Virtual Care Preferences" is now just "Settings" — a cleaner layout with straightforward on/off switches for reminders and SMS, and a read-only "App opened status" badge showing whether a patient has set up their app. The virtual visit settings section has been removed from patient profiles.
Overdue Dose Email Recipients Overdue dose alert emails now go to all site-level treatment monitors rather than only the individual patient's assigned monitor — so the right staff is always notified, regardless of how patient assignments are configured.
Remember Last Login SureAdhere now remembers which account you last used and automatically selects it on your next login.
Settings Page Fix Fixed an issue where changes to the admin configurable tables and feature flag pages weren't always saving reliably.

Staff Alerts (New) Providers now receive automatic email notifications when a patient's dose is 24 hours overdue — so your team can follow up without having to check the dashboard manually.
Virtual Visits Resolved a connectivity issue preventing virtual visits from working for users on restricted internal networks.
Navigation Fix Fixed a bug where the home button in the left sidebar would disappear or display as a blank white block on page refresh.

Staff Role Management Fixed an issue where Client Staff Admins received an "Insufficient Permissions" error when editing staff accounts — even when they had the correct role. Admins can now reliably edit accounts for all sites they have access to.
Mobile Symptom Screening Fixed a bug where the symptom selection screen showed no symptoms when taking a video on iOS or Android.
Observation Method Corrected a default that was unintentionally overriding the observation method on new doses.

Escalation Workflow (New) The old "follow-up needed" checkbox has been replaced with a more powerful escalation workflow. When reviewing a dose, you now see:
Submit and flag — marks the dose and requires a comment or support action before escalating
Submit and resolve — clears a previously escalated flag
Flagged doses surface prominently on the dashboard's Urgent Follow-Up section. This feature is enabled via the "Support Actions" feature flag.
Regimen Calendar Fixed a display bug where drugs that had been ended still appeared on the regimen calendar and grouped drug schedule after their stop date.
EDC Integration Fixed a data transmission issue where the Observation Method field was intermittently missing from EDC records for some sites.

Improved notifications system - SureAdhere will now default to sending video reminders within the app itself, for improved security, visibility, and reliability. No action is needed. Some notes:
Patients who previously received SMS reminders will receive those reminders via messages in the SureAdhere app
These reminders will also appear on patients' lock screen
The timing of the reminders has changed. They will now arrive an hour after the dose was due.
Patients can respond to these reminders in the app. Those responses will appear in the messages tab in SureAdhere for providers.
If a reminder is unable to be delivered to the patients messages inbox, SureAdhere will fall back to sending that reminder over SMS, as a text message.
Future improvements will address known issues with the reminder controls in the patient profile tab in SureAdhere for providers.

Quick Actions Dashboard Fixed calculation errors causing the dashboard to show unrealistically high missed-dose counts for some clients.

New Site-Level Notifications
Quick Actions will now show low adherence and low video review rate alerts when a site's adherence or review rate falls below a set target.
Each alert includes an action to open your default email app and send a message to the staff at that site via the email addresses saved in SureAdhere.
New Consecutive Missed Doses Alerts
If a patient misses two or more consecutive doses, staff now get an alert, helping identify patients who may be falling off treatment.
This notification includes an action to go directly to that patient's profile for follow-up.
Quick Actions Grouping
When there are multiple notifications of the same type, like new videos, they will now be grouped together.
You can click the summary line to expand the list and see all the individual events.
Updated Icons - The icons for "New video" and "Late video" events in the Quick Actions panel have been updated.

Redesigned Regimen Creation and Scheduling - We have completely redesigned the regimen tool to make it easier to create and change patient regimens, based on feedback from nurses around the world. This includes a handful of new workflows below:
Calendar Preview: The new dedicated calendar on the right instantly updates to show what days patients should be expected to take medication.
Automatic Dose Calculation: To help prevent data entry errors, the system now automatically calculates the total dose for a drug based on the number and size of prescribed pills.
Separate drug schedules: Managing patients with multiple drugs on different schedules is now much clearer. Each schedule can now be edited separately, saving a headache when making changes to just one drug.
Sunday Start Week: Based on user feedback, the week in the new Calendar Preview and all date pickers within the regimen section now starts on Sunday to provide a more familiar layout.

Multi-Time Zone Support for Sites - We've introduced a major enhancement for organizations that operate across different regions. Here's how it works:
Client accounts can now support multiple time zones, allowing each site to be configured to its specific local time. Previously, all sites within a client account were limited to a single time zone.
To ensure accuracy, all times displayed within the platform (like video submission times) now automatically adjust to the viewer's own system time zone, providing greater clarity when managing care across the country.

Video review - The video review window now includes a shortcut button to mark this dose as adherent, ensuring all drugs are marked as taken via Video Observed Therapy, and includes a preview of expected drugs in a given dose. This makes for much more efficient video review, while continuing to offer all current options (like side effects, comments, and partial doses) if needed. Announcements - The SureAdhere dashboard can now display announcements for various important system updates. We’ll use this sparingly, but it’s a good place to check for recent improvements to SureAdhere.

Account name - The account name is now displayed at the top of your screen.
Automatic former patient data cleanup - We’ve introduced a new system to help maintain data accuracy for your patients. Here’s how it works:
SureAdhere automatically detects patients who have active accounts in the system but who haven’t logged into the app in over 1 year.
You’ll be prompted with an option to deactivate all of these these patients directly from the alert. This simply removes them from active patient reports and from your home screen lists, without deleting any data, helping you track your current patients more clearly.
You can also choose to be reminded later.
Deactivated patients can be reactivated at any time from their profile page if needed. Once again, no data is deleted.
Deactivating former patients prevents unauthorized login, keeping SureAdhere secure.
Reliability fixes - This release also includes fixes to video playback reliability and a number of security updates.

SMS Delivery Improvements - We’ve improved our SMS delivery system, allowing us to send SMS messages more reliably in more locations.
Patient Screen Enhancements: We’ve fixed a number of issues on the provider app when viewing patient details.
Inactive Patient Access: Inactive patients will no longer be able to log in to the application, protecting patients from incorrect logins to expired accounts. This increases security and privacy as well as control for providers. Patients can always be reactivated, and records are kept according to our standard policy.

Video Decryption & Uploading - SureAdhere now features enhanced capabilities to efficiently handle concurrent processes related to video decryption and uploading. This improvement addresses previous performance issues, ensuring faster processing and a smoother user experience during high-volume video handling.
Video Encoding - SureAdhere now encodes uploaded videos, allowing playback at multiple levels of video quality. This means that if a provider is in a low-bandwidth setting, they can still view videos at a lower quality level without buffering.
Storage Policy - A new storage policy has been implemented for videos, optimizing data management and ensuring more efficient use of storage resources.
