Managing Credentials

This page helps Program Managers manage Credentials in Connect.

Overview

Credentials allow mobile workers to earn achievements for the work they have completed on an opportunity. There are two different kinds of credentials that can be earned by a mobile worker, learning and delivery credentials. Below is an explanation of what each credential type represents:

  • Learning Credential - When a mobile worker passes the assessment for the opportunity’s learning modules they can earn a learning credential.

  • Delivery Credential - When a mobile worker completes a certain amount of deliveries for the delivery type associated with the opportunity they can earn a delivery credential. The following options are available for how many deliveries a mobile worker must complete before being able to earn the credential:

    • 25

    • 50

    • 100

    • 200

    • 500

    • 1000

Configuring Credentials

To allow credentials to be earned by mobile workers in an opportunity, an admin or member of the opportunity will need to enable credential issuing. To enable this navigate to the Opportunity Dashboard page and click “Edit Opportunity” from the hamburger menu on the top right side of the page. The below edit screen will open up:

Under the “Manage Credentials” section there are two options for configuring credentials. Specifically, an option for “Learn Level” and “Delivery Level” can be set, which enables learning and delivery credentials, respectively.

Setting the option back to “None” disables issuing credentials of that type, however it should be noted that credentials already earned will not be deleted.

Viewing Credentials via Connect Mobile

To view earned credentials on a mobile device, a user should open the navigation sidebar and click on “Work History”. This navigation bar can be accessed after logging into PersonalID.

This will take the user to a screen that shows both their earned and pending credentials:
