Glossary and list of abbreviations

• Credential: A record of work or accomplishment corresponding to a PersonalID worker.

• Issuing app: A CommCare mobile application that a mobile worker is able to earn a credential for.

Introduction

• Problem Description/User Story: After configuring their PersonalID account, mobile workers should be able to earn, collect, and display accomplishments related to their work with the CommCare app across multiple projects. In the beginning this will include HQ projects where the user actively participated for an admin-defined amount of time, as well as learning certificates from Connect opportunities.

• Background: This feature will give mobile users motivation to signup for the newly released PersonalID platform, so they can request and earn credentials from projects they’re involved with. 

• Goals:

  • Project Space Admin can opt-in on a domain-by-domain basis

  • Project Space Admin can perform basic configuration (select min time length a user must have been active on an app to earn the certificate)

  • Mobile workers can view lists of earned and potential credentials
