Verification
Verification is the automated, real-time process of checking and approving individual forms submitted by a worker as part of an Opportunity. The checks are intended to determine if a workers is following pre-defined rules for valid service delivery.
The Connect platform currently has the following flags that may be applied to each form:
Duplicate Flag - Prevents multiple submissions for same beneficiary based on a unique identifier created by joining name and date of birth. For example, . if the child name is “Jane Doe” and Date of birth is “2023-09-10” duplicate will be flagged on “Jane Doe2023-09-10”
GPS Flag - Ensures location data is captured
Location Proximity Flag - Prevents clustering of visits for the same user or different users
Catchment Area Flag - Validates geographic boundaries set for the FLW’s work
Form Submission Time Window - Restricts form submission times
Duration Flag - Prevents rushed form submissions below a minimum threshold to complete a form
When a user fails an eligibility check, it is visible in the verification details section of the mobile app. The user will also observe that the progress indicator increments but no payment has been accrued for the work.
Note: The Number of Visits value can exceed the Total Number of Visits per Day (e.g., 5/3) only in cases where the visits are for approved status. This is expected behavior and should not be interpreted as an error.
