Signing into a CommCare app with PersonalID

For regular CommCare apps, the user has the option to link the account with their PersonalID and do away with using a password every time to login. This requires the user to take the following steps:

• Choose the CommCare app from the dropdown app selector on the login screen as usual

• Enter the previously set up username and password for the specific CommCare app

• The user will be prompted to link the CommCare account with you PersonalID. If they choose ‘Yes’ the CommCare app will, from now on, bypass the password and use the biometric to provide access to the app

• This can be reversed if the user manually enters the username and password for the CommCare app on the login screen
