In this section, learn how to configure languages in CommCare HQ and do bulk application translations.

To clarify the process of setting up multiple languages in a CommCare application, it’s important to note that after enabling multiple languages, translations are not automatically available. Users will need to either build the application directly in the local language or start in English, then download the translations file from the Application Settings menu. This file can be translated into the desired language(s) and uploaded back into CommCare to apply the translations. To achieve this, users should navigate to the Bulk Application Translations menu to complete this step and ensure the settings take effect.
