What technology (software applications, hardware, operating system) does CommTrack use?
The CommTrack website is built on Python/Django, PostgreSQL, CouchDB, and Apache. The CommTrack mobile application runs Java on Android and J2ME on Java-enabled feature phones. CommTrack can also run over SMS using any cellular phone.
Where has CommTrack been implemented?
CommTrack has been implemented in India, Senegal, and Zambia. Early versions of CommTrack have been deployed in Ghana, Malawi, and Tanzania.
What level of effort (low, medium, or high) is needed for maintenance?

What's the pricing plan for using CommTrack SMS?
Pricing plan for CommTrack SMS projects is the same with CommConnect. The separate CommConnect pricing plan is under active development. For now it shares the same scheme with CommCare.

What formats can I export my data in?
What should i do if i want to make changes to questions in the CommTrack mobile app that I have deployed?
For now you need to come and talk to our developers if you want to do that. We are actively working on that and users should be able to change questions in our application builder by September.
Under Location Hierarchy, what is the difference between administrative-only and non-administrative locations?
These kinds of locations are used purely for reporting, organization, or administration, and are used by our reporting tools to group data and reports. They do not manage stock and will not be linked to mobile workers.
Does CommTrack support automatically sending broadcast messages to late / non-reporting supply points?
We should be able to support this using out-of-the-box functionality.
