Data submitted by mobile workers are analyzed to assess stock status. This summary report includes:

  1. Product Name

...

    1. the list of

...

    1. products registered (How to: Products)
  1. # Facilities:

...

    1. number of facilities that have data reported for

...

This report includes visualized information and data for each product on the percentage of facilities that are out of stock, under stock, in adequate stock, overstocked, and insufficient data. You could use Report filters to see the stock status by product in a specific facility.

What does insufficient data mean? In which situation would you get insufficient data?

Inventory

An inventory is the process of counting the total numbers of units of products at any given time. An inventory report could hold information about all the coartem in a storage facility. It includes:

  1. Total SOH (total stock on hand of coartem in the clinic)
  2. Total AMC (total average monthly consumption, aka the amount of coartem delivered to the clinic per month)
  3. Remaining MOS : remaining stock measured in months, this gives an assessment of how long the coartem supply in the clinic will last. It is the result of dividing Total SOH by Total AMC)
  4. Stock Status (the status is decided by two factors: Stock Level settings and the remaining MOS. See documentation on stock level settings)
    1.  If Remaining MOS < Emergency Level/Low Stock level, understock;
    2.  If Remaining MOS > Adequate & Remaining MOS < Overstock level, adequate
    3.  If Remaining MOS > Overstock level, overstock

  5. Resupply quantity suggested (the quantity is decided by remaining MOS and the monthly consumption rate. See documentation on Consumption Settings
    1. with stock status assessed by the two indicators above (Remaining MOS and Stock Status), RQS gives an suggestion of resupply quantity in your next order/distribution. The value is decided by remaining MOS and the monthly consumption rate configured in your project
    2. Resupply quantity suggested will not return any real value if the storing facility is over-stocked

Reporting Status (map)

Using a geographic information system (GIS), this report provides a view of every supply point and their current reporting status. This report is designed for web users to easily view mobile worker performance in terms of their reporting time. Say

Say an organization Rushmore wants to see how the stock status of

This report includes information on the geographic location of all supply points and their current reporting status with a map view.

    1. each product
    2. number of facilities for each product would differ for each product if the demand for types of products is facility specific (i.e. some facility might only have supply of coartem, some might have all)
    3. number of facilities for products might differ from the total number of facilities if there are facilities not submitting enough data for CommTrack to generate stock status assessment
  1. Stocked out: Percentage of facilities that have no stock of the product during the time range you set
  2. Understocked: percentage of facilities that do not have enough stock to last until next order is received
  3. Adequate stock: percentage of facilities that have enough stock to last until next order is received
  4. Overstocked: percentage of facilities that have too much stock until next order is received
  5. Insufficient Data: all data submission would go to insufficient data column temporarily before data submissions for each facility (by mobile user) reach the length of user-configured minimum window for calculation (days). Once data submissions get over the minimum window for calculation, insufficient data column would go away and stock status per facility would be displayed correctly.
