Important note about naming: Since users will navigate the application using form and menu names, ensure that all names clearly describe what the menu or form does, are brief (can fit on the phone screen), and consistent (e.g. all registration forms are named the same thing).

Menu Types

Before you build a CommCare form, you will need to decide what kind of menu you want your form to be nested in. Your options include the following:

When building surveys in CommCare, all forms are nested within a Survey Menu that can only add other survey forms.
