CommTrack: SMS vs. Mobile App
- CommTrack began with providing SMS solutions, enabling any functional mobile phone to submit stock report and receive corresponding alters and reports in structured SMS format. - For an overview and features of the CommTrack mobile app, check out our video demos. If using mobile app to collect data, a good start point is our demo app published on CommCare Exchange.
- Get the CommTrack app from the exchange, build it, and install it on the phone (Upgraded version coming soon!)
- Instructions on deploying CommTrack. To successfully log into CommTrack mobile app you should have mobile user account created first.
- Android phone setup (if you are using Android smartphone)
- Install CommCare ODK
- Launch the app and start collecting data!

CommTrack On the Web
CommTrack on the web is designed for web users who supervise agents who collect collecting and submit submitting stock data in the field.
- Sign up an account on CommTrack, set up your project, create and manage facilities and products he/she to track, and agents who are to track them.
- Locations creation
- Product creation
- User creation
- Program creation
- Choose between SMS & Mobile Application
- Sign in on CommTrack to see multiple reports of data submission, as well as the activity and performance of data collectors that you have created. Control the view from the left navigation under Reports tab once you login to CommTrack.
